Arco 40 Turntable
Natural Materials for a Pure Musical Experience
The SteinMusic Arco 40 Anniversary Turntable is designed to let you enjoy music in its purest form. Every detail has been carefully considered to eliminate disturbances and deliver unmatched sonic precision and natural musicality. This masterpiece is the culmination of over 40 years of experience in crafting high-quality HiFi products.
The platter, crafted from an innovative wood-metal sandwich with elegant cherry veneer layers, provides exceptional resonance control. Combined with the precision-engineered dual bearing, it ensures remarkable smoothness, bringing out even the finest musical details.
A standout feature is the 10″ tonearm, made from a piece of a violin bow. This extraordinary choice of material surpasses both carbon and wood alternatives, offering unparalleled fidelity. The handcrafted copper tonearm cable, made from 50-year-old copper and free from sound-altering plastic insulation, guarantees uncolored signal transmission.
The turntable is powered by a Swiss precision motor from Maxon. A specially developed control system, paired with a waxed and silver-plated nylon belt, ensures absolute consistency and smooth power transfer.
The result is a listening experience characterized by natural sound, intricate details, and outstanding precision—timeless, exclusive, and limited to just 20 pieces worldwide.

Perfect Resonance Control Through Innovative Materials
The platter and base are made from 19-layer laminated plywood, aged for over 25 years and refined with elegant 2 mm thick cherry veneer layers. This choice of materials leverages the natural damping properties of wood to reduce vibrations and deliver uncolored sound reproduction.
The platter itself combines the benefits of wood and metal in a sandwich construction, reinforced by an additional 2.5 mm thick metal plate. With a total weight of 2000 grams, it minimizes micro-vibrations and enhances inertia for a perfectly even rotation.
Effortless Precision with Dual Bearings
The precision-engineered dual bearing ensures minimal resistance and extraordinary smoothness. After being switched off, the platter continues spinning at 33 1/3 RPM for more than four minutes. This exceptional efficiency guarantees an uninterrupted listening experience and precise playback.
Swiss Precision for Consistent Performance
The turntable is driven by a Swiss-made precision motor from Maxon, complemented by a specially developed control system. Together, they deliver flawless rotational speed, allowing music to unfold with its natural timing.
A waxed and silver-plated nylon thread serves as the drive belt, transferring power gently and precisely while eliminating slippage or irregularities.
Uncompromising Signal Transmission
The handcrafted tonearm cable is made from 50-year-old individually insulated copper, further shielded by a copper braid. No plastic insulation is used, preserving the purity of the signal and safeguarding even the subtlest musical nuances.
A Unique 10″ Tonearm for Vibrant Playback
The 10″ tonearm, crafted from a violin bow, offers exceptional resonance control and significantly outperforms carbon and wood alternatives. Paired with a watchmaker’s precision balance for single-point mounting, the tonearm ensures maximum stability and freedom of movement. This results in an exact tracking of the cartridge, allowing even the finest musical details to come alive authentically.
